On March 23rd, news broke that Fr. Edward Flanagan was declared a Venerable by the Holy See! You can read the Vatican's announcement (Italian) here. The Archdiocese of Omaha made their own announcement (found here) and plans a Mass of Thanksgiving (date TBD).
